new shed

This weekend all hands are on deck...literally. Starting last weekend I helped Nathan level and cement 4 post into the ground for the shed's deck floor. Then Nathan submitted for approval to the board and we got the go ahead yesterday with an *. The * being that we screen the shed with year round privacy trees such as holly's and we paint the shed to match the paint codes of our house, both of which we had planned on doing.

Last Sunday: this shows where the shed will be tucked in - from our yard and into the woods.

Nathan by the tallest post for the deck floor. It's as tall as me! Add another 9' to that for the shed height. The smallest post is 1' higher than ground level to allow for ventilation, but with such an incline and with keeping things level ,the back post is 5'+.

Dan the man cutting down a dead tree, close to the foundation of the shed.

Sat: this a.m. the men have the floor board to the deck laid out.

W.H. the builder.

Screwing in the floor boards.

Hailey making sure the paint rollers don't roll away.

...Updates will be posted throughout the weekend...
