I took this picture to show Nathan how popular golf carts have gotten as a means of transportation in parts of NC/SC. These carts have big tires in order to get around on sidewalks, streets and curbs. Golf carts really are great and the grueling task of buckling more than one kiddo a car seat is solved here! Most recently the golf neighborhood where we joined as our home course was having a multi family yard sale. Those with carts where able to drive up with their kids, scout things out, and move on to the next house with ease. Oh, and a a quick jaunt to the pool and then home with kiddies and towels is another problem solved. Is this too big of a birthday gift to ask for???

We have one! My parents still live in my hometown, Colonial Beach, and a few years ago they became a "Golf Cart Town" as it says on the town welcome sign. We keep one at their house, and go down to ride it several evenings during the week (they're only 10-15 minutes down the road from us) after our evening walk (getting ready for labor and delivery). The kids LOVE it!
Oh, I can so see you driving to the pool, library and all the community events in a personalized Golf Cart-- go for it... Maybe a combo birthday- anniversary present? A.Valerie
