Valentine's Day Weekend

Nathan and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day together a week early. We didn't want to have a hard time finding a babysitter and run into long waits or crowds at dinner. It worked out well and afterall we celebrated Valentines Day early 4 years ago and looked how that turned out...we got engaged!

Saturday night we went to the Melting Pot in Midtown. It's always a fun time cooking fondue style. I had the pleasure of kicking back while Nathan cooked the surf and turf part of the meal. We stuffed ourselves as usual and even brought a few treats home for W.H.! He ate them all and said "Mommy...trees all gone"

Sunday night we shared a babysitter with our friends and went to concert in Duluth - Winter Jam '09. It was really nice to go out 2 nights in a row! We had Pho noddle soup and then headed over to the arena. We watched Hawk Nelson, Brandon Heath & TobyMac perform. The neatest thing about the concert was that it was the night of the Grammy's and TobyMac had been nominated. They decided to honor their spot at Winter Jam even though it was the same night and they WON!! How neat is that to see a band perform live the night that they win a Grammy! Needless to say they were pumped and so was the crowd.

Sounds like you guys are having lots of fun in Atlanta!!! Great that you went out ... what a treat. I like the gardening picture of Harrison- what a fun idea!
