We're back from our honeymoon to the West Indies - St. Lucia. We had a blast & have memories that we'll share for a lifetime filled with love. We stayed 1 night in Miami at Delano (not planned but it was a blast), 6 nights in our treehouse at the Ladera Resort, & 1 night at the Jalouise Resort.
What we did on our honeymoon: (Wheww!)
-Ate local food daily...drank our fair share of "fun" drinks, local rum & "seventh heaven"Mmm
-Took at boat to a local fish fry in Anse La Raye
-We went snorkeling in the Jalousie Bay
-Had a 1 hour swedish and anti-stress massage
-Went to Le Pardis in Pralin Bay to check out a real estate condominium site -N.S. idea not mine :-)
-Played 18-holes of golf at the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club
-Relaxed in the infinity pool, played board games & watched other honeymooners!
-Hiked the Gros Piton - 3rd highest mountain 2600 ft. above sea level
-Went to the town of Soufriere and went inside the sulfuric volcano (it smelled)
-Swam under a waterfall and walked through beautiful botanical gardens
The hike to the summit of the Gros Piton was our most accomplished event. It took 3hours, lots of water, a private tour guide, and Nathan stipping down and loading Sara up! HA ahh HA~! Our legs were sore, but we strategically had massage appointments lined up for an hour after our climb.
