A few of you have seen me around and know that I ditched the highlights. Family and friends, I thought you should catch a glimpse before I shock you during the holidays. I felt like it was time for a change after 7 years of time consuming trips to get my hair highlighted. When I didn't have 2 little ones and personal time was more abundant it was easier, but recently I felt like my hair was a ticking time bomb. It's a big adjustment, but I'm getting used to the new me!

I love the new color! I hear ya on the highlights. I did highlights a few months ago and went back to brown about a month ago. Loved the highlights...hated the time and expense of the upkeep.
Looks great! Definitely makes me re-think my highlights. Although, after our hairdresser told me that I now have gray hair (which i didn't realize thanks to my highlights) I would probably have to keep up with the brown dye to cover those grays...... I can't win.
