new bench

I found this bench at a local yard sale for $10. It had a light stain on it and handpainted winnie the pooh, tigger & eeyore (the donkey). Oh and some random bumble bees too. I was not sold on these characters at all but loved the simple look of the bench and that it had storage. Nathan jumped in on my refinishing project a little bit too early and helped me paint before the bees were completely sanded off. They were showing through, so here's DaDa and Hailey making sure they are gone this time around.

We finished it up and our new bench now sits in the hallway adding "banner red" to our entrance. The kids shoes and backpacks will now be easy to find in the morning too!
