Hailey waiting for her shot nurse. She even got her Flu shot, that little stinker is ahead of all of us. I said yes right away since she is in school this year. I'm debating on the H1N1 vaccine available this fall. The doctor recommended the flu shot since August has already been filled with cold/flu patients.

Up from 15 lbs 4 oz at her 12 month check up! Hailey is now weighing what her brother weighed at about 5 months. This puts Hailey in the 50% for height and only around the 1% for weight. The ped. was not concerned at all she said she is petite like her Mom and I say she is getting those long leggies from Daddy. I was never on the charts for height or weight, so 50% is a huge difference! The doctor said that most would look at her chart and see a problem, if she was in the 10% for height her current weight she would not be scrutinized, but it's not the normal matchup. She was not concerned though since she is gaining at a good rate in each department. As for the carseat she estimated that Hailey would probably not be able to face forward until around 20 months old. Requirements are; 1 yr. and 20lbs. Clothes are tough too, she is still in 6-12 for weight but 12-18 in height, which means ALL leggings and elastic this season for Hailey.

I was glad to announce that she was walking at this appointment. If it has been a week earlier I would of had to explain her gaurded ways. I told the doctor that she was walking and then she asked if Hailey was running. Hailey run!? Oh my gosh I thought, we just convinved her to walk, running may take a few more months. Harrison, yes.... he figured out how to walk and 7 days later he was sprinting. Everyone always told me when I was pregnant with baby #2 that I'd be amazed at how different your children are. It couldn't be more ture and it's really neat to parallel the stages of H & H!
