Nathan took this picture of Hailey & I this evening on her first birthday. I can't believe that 1 year ago today I was lying in a hospital bed studying each tiny feature you own, learning that your had 2 dimples in your chin & not knowing just how much our love for you could grow with each passing day. I'll never forget when they brought you over to me, all swaddled just minutes after you were born and they asked if I would like the first kiss. There you were, placed right up to my cheek for the first time. Now we're pictured above cheek to cheek 1 year later. We love you Hailey...happy birthday to our sweet baby girl.Friday, June 05, 2009
