Brookgreen Gardens

Today we visited Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC. A garden museum and National Historic Landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture, in an outdoor setting.
I loved this planter. I would love to repeat this at home!
..
We attending the "meet the animals" native to the southeast.

This skunk has diabetes!! He was drinking a ton of water, they took him to the vet and found out his blood sugar lvl. was 500+ HA! Don't worry his sprayer was removed.

Harrison really wanted to touch the snake like the others. Whew, he is B.R.A.V.E! I was worried that this could teach him that it was ok to touch snakes and reptiles in the wild. I basically tell him that everything bites...for now. He usually goes around saying, "it'll bite chu" for eveything down to an ant! Although, he has had some pretty bad encounters with fire ants in GA & LA.
