This has been the scene around our house lately. It seems that when you are about to hit 2 yrs. old, you are more aware of things and medicine = bad news. Harrison has had this cough and was given amox. twice a day for 10 days. We'll be lucky to get 2 days worth in him! He's a smart one, anyway you pin him he'll shot it straight up, hold his nose and he'll clamp his mouth tight, bribes - nope they don't work, he'll even let the med.'s pool in the bottom of his mouth under his tounge until he can spit the rest out! Washing it down with apple juice has been the only saving grace to possible get some med. in him. He's ruined so many shirts and bibs I have resorted to no top :)

If he likes applesauce (or yogurt), you can try mixing it in there... Sometimes, the Rx is "disguised". Hope he feels better soon! xo, Auntie...
