We're in ATL, looking for that special place that we'll soon call home. I give it one word: Overwhleming! Luckily, I do this for a living, simplfying the metro area for others (if this can come close being accomplished) so Nathan and I knew what a trip this would entail. We are going to look at Intown homes today a.k.a. ITP homes (Inside the Perimeter). This would be similar to our lifestyle in Arlington now except in a single family home amongst other neighbors. Yesterday we spent the day out at Tributary at New Manchester the neighborhood that we have been leaning towards all along. Check it out: http://www.tributaryga.com/
Right now there is a Street of Dreams going on at Tributary. The builders in the neighborhood build one of their models and dec it out with the latest features, "toys", and wonderful outdoor living spaces.

Here is the "Westport" model built by the builder that we are looking at hiring. Ooo...I just love the double porch, with two entrances off the upper level!! And, 3 ceiling fans!
Wonderful stone and mosic tile hot tub overflowing into the pool. This backyard would be similar to the lot that we are considering. There would be a slope, but lots of nice trees. This lot is really on a hill, but they built up the backyard enough to create this pool and deck area!
Nathan in a screened in porch area under the deck. Nathan is interested in doing this under our future deck since we are looking at basement lots.
Outdoor fireplace and furniture.
Stone outdoor living area with built in grill. This would be nice but you would have to have a non-basement lot.
