HOKIE Hope Day- April 20th, 2007

4.17.07 Candlelight Vigil - Blacksburg, VA

Today we observed a National day of mourning in honor of all the lives lost at Virginia Tech. We pray that healing and peace may find those suffering at our school, in the Blacksburg community and especially to the families who lost the lives of loved one.

HOKIES....
A black ribbon, front and center on this VT hat.
A student left this coffee cup at the memorial site...
"If it had not been for this coffe cup I would have been in Norris Hall. I can't thank God enough for saving my life, but I will also never understand why yours had to be lost."
.......................

Today we wore orange and maroon to show our pride, spirit & support.

Harrison could be a 4th generation Hokie. WOW!
William Henry Sloan II, William Henry Sloan III, Nathan A. Sloan...
will little William Harrison Sloan be the next HOKIE?!

Our Hokie Family!
