Our stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany
Once Mom and Dad arrived we planned a trip to the Bavarian Alps. We stayed overnight in Garmisch-Partenkirchen which is located at the foot of the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany (2,962 m/9,724 ft), and is both one of the principal climatic health spas in the Bavarian Alps and Germany’s premier winter sports metropolis. The next morning we are at the base of the Zugspitze and ready for travels to the top!
